Q: What is a subscription?

A: If one customer doesn’t want to use her/his credit card but wants to use the Automated Retrieval System, she/he can leave a certain amount of money from which we deduct the cost of the service. When that amount is about to be $0, it can be renewed at our counters.


Q: Can I pick-up and drop-off 24 hours a day?

A: Yes. You can drop-off 24/7 using our drop boxes, and whenever you prepay the service you will be able to pick-up 24/7 using our Automated Retrieval System.


Q: Do I need a pin number for pick-up or drop-off?

A: No. All you need to do is insert your OXXO Card in the slot and wait for your clothes. No more numbers to remember!


Q: Why is it important to give us your you my email address?

A: Emails are used to inform you about specific issues regarding your orders, your account, and to let you know when our stores will be running promotions or discounts.


Q: How does the garment retrieval belt work?

A: We attach a bar coded tag to every piece of garment we process -including your OXXO yellow bag. This bar code is electronically linked to your OXXO card and that is how our computerized system instructs the belt to deliver your garments without the risk of being misplaced.


Q: How long should I wait for my clothes to be delivered on the retrieval belt?

A: It’s just a matter of minutes to retrieve your garments from our Automated Retrieval System.


Q: How many times does the retrieval window open?

A: Depending on the size of your order, the Automated Retrieval System may deliver your order in more than one lot. The computer monitor will tell you how many pieces are ready for pick-up and will alert you that more pieces are coming to the door.


Q: What if I come to pick up my clothes and my clothes don’t come to the window, or if nothing happens?

A: This may happen if your order was not prepaid. If this happens due to a malfunction of the system, please contact our store clerk at the counter or by telephone to solve the issue immediately.

Q: What is Green-Earth?

A: GreenEarth is a silicon based solvent developed by GE and Procter & Gamble and it has been certified to be 100% environmentally safe. With GreenEarth your clothes will look nicer and last longer.


Q: Why don’t we you have Iron Press machines?

A: Our main objective is to deliver the best quality. That is why we have our hand iron finishing rather the regular press machines.


Q: Is there personal information on the OXXO card given to me?

A: No. Your personal information is safe guarded in our systems. The OXXO card contains a digital code which is linked to the bar coded tags attached to your clothes.


Q: How much water is spent doing dry-cleaning and what is being done to protect the resource?

A: The dry-cleaning process does not use water at all. That is why is called Dry. However we use moderate amounts of water in our laundry process.


Q: Does OXXO have discounts for community members of some sorts, senior citizens, students, reporters, etc?

A: Yes. “All our franchisees and stores” / We offer different promotional programs to organizations in the areas where our stores are located.


Q: Why are OXXO prices higher than your other regular dry-cleaners?

A: Our prices are very competitive in every location. We set our prices by checking out those of our competitors and offering significant advantages over them.


Q: What is your turn-around time?

A: Our turn-around is three days. Whatever is dropped-off on Mondays will be ready for pick-up on Thursdays and so forth. However, we offer services as "same day cleaning" and "express service (one day).
